Dallas was a great guide, clearly enthusiastic about the area and the wines, and i thought the wineries we visited were very well chosen and really flowed well from one to the next, and for me, ending on the highlight with the gorgeous little cellar door of Murray Street Vineyards. What a wonderful day out with a great group of people from all over the world. The tours are small – ours was 12 people in total; and very personalised. The tour goes to some beautiful vineyards where the staff do private tastings and education for the group. There was lots of laughs; beautiful wines; amazing country scenery; and a lovely lunch under the trees. Only catch – its hard to resist purchasing some of those amazing Barossa Valley wines!!
